M1 unveils plans for the iPhone 4S

M1 will be doing a midnight launch of the iPhone 4S at its Paragon outlet on Oct 28, according to a note on its webpage.

If you're willing to wait a few more hours, a few M1 shops will be open at 7 am on Oct 28, namely, the outlets at Bugis Junction, Change Alley, IMM, Paragon, Plaza Singapura, West Mall and Tampines.

A few M1 resellers will also be opening at 7 am on that day to sell the iPhone 4S.

The carrier has also unveiled its price plans for the iPhone 4S. The 16GB version will be sold for $505 with a monthly subscription of $36. You can get the 16GB version for free if you sign up either for the iPhone Extreme (S$98 a month) plan or iPhone Max (S$198 a month).

The full details are here.

SingTel and StarHub have yet to unveil their price plans though SingTel has said there will be a midnight launch on Oct 28. If you were hoping to buy an unsubsidized iPhone 4S directly from Apple, you're too late. The online Apple Store for Singapore now lists the iPhone 4S as "currently unavailable". Previously, shipping was within one to two weeks.

Im one of those who queued at M1Shop plaza singapura last Oct. 28, for their 7:00am opening.

I'm excited to try the new features of this iPhone4S, unfortunately M1 data network is not working until now.

I try to connect to WiFi and its working.

Anyone experiencing the same problem with m1 network?

Hope they can do immediate action on this.
