- Apple has released a second beta for iOS 4.3. Documentation accompanying this beta notes that the four and five finger gestures for the iPad first seen in the original beta release of 4.3 will not be included in the final version. (9to5Mac)
- The beta also mentions a MobileMe-based photo sharing feature called Photo Stream, as well as FaceTime and PhotoBooth for iPad. (AppleInsider)
- A story about an uncensored Playboy for the iPad being available soon got many people, well, excited. Unfortunately, it seems like the excitement was a little premature. The Playboy app does not signal a more liberal Apple. Instead, uncensored access to Playboy and its archives will be available via Mobile Safari for subscribers to the magazine. (Macworld)
- Good news for caffeine addicts. Starbucks in the US will now allow people to pay for their lattes through an app. The app has a barcode that can be read at the point of sale. Let's hope this comes to Singapore soon. (Macworld)
