WeatherLah app should be on every iPhone in Singapore

This is not something I say lightly, but if you live in Singapore, you must download WeatherLah, a new weather app by buUuk.

WeatherLah is one of the most stylish local iPhone apps I've seen recently. The opening page helps you see immediately what today's weather is, and the information is presently very elegantly. They have obviously been paying attention to the graphics and typeface with this app and it shows.

But this app is not just about style. It is also highly useful. You can customise alerts so that you can be informed when there is heavy rain and when the PSI level gets too high. Even better, you can set this app to alert you when it rains in specific locations around Singapore, say your workplace or your school.

One nice touch is a function called Quiet Time. Turn this one and set it so that you don't alerts when you are asleep.

(Note: to access all these goodies, you need to go to the Alerts section, then tap on the settings button in the top right corner.)

This is a great weather app. It is useful, well-designed, attractive, and best of all, it's free. A definite must-have.

Turn on 'weather nearby' and you'll get alerts for weather forecast when you move around Singapore. Uses background location that only works in iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPad.
