Windows Phone 7 from the perspective of a local iPhone developer

Windows Phone 7 will give Android a run for its money and it will also force Apple to improve. That is the opinion of well-known local iPhone developer Mugunth Kumar who developed such apps as iCash SG and StationAlarm SG.

Mugunth spends quality time with two Windows Phone 7 devices (the HTC HD 7 and the Samsung Omnia) and concludes:

"There is no doubt that the iPhone 4 wins hands down. However, Windows Phones are a real competition to most Android devices out there. ...  Windows Phones have a slick UI which is far ahead of Android. Surely when users see the phone, they would probably choose a Windows Phone over Android. As Windows Phone shows up some competition to iOS, Apple will also be forced to introduce features like Lock screen information (information at a glance), Widgets on Home screen (Live tiles), free MobileMe thereby leading to better products for consumers like us."
