Round-up: Mac interest up, Acer's tablet plans, Playbook pricing and Oprah loves her iPad

- 36 percent of people who plan to buy laptops in the next 90 days say they want to buy a Mac, according to a Changewave survey. (AppleInsider)

- Acer is planning to release a 7-inch tablet and two 10.1-inch tablets next year. One of the 10.1-inch tablets will be running Windows 7. The other two tablets will run Android. The Android tablets will ship in April next year while the Windows 7 tablet will be available in February. (PCMag.com)

- RIM's 7-inch Playbook may start at US$399, according to website Mobility Insider. (Mobility Insider)

- Oprah raved about iPad on her show and gave close to 300 of them away to her audience. "Words cannot describe what I feel for this magnificent, magnificent device," she said. "I really think it's the best invention of the century so far." This will undoubtedly help Apple sell more iPads. (TechCrunch)
