Next-Gen iPad to get 2 cameras?
It seems like a pretty good bet that Apple will put a camera on the next generation of iPads to add more FaceTime-capable devices to the ecosystem.
However, a note from an investment firm has gone further to say that the iPad will have two cameras, a 5 MP camera and a VGA camera.
Detweiler Fenton, in a note obtained by Barron's, said OmniVision will be supplying the CMOS image sensors used in the new iPad.
Presumably, the VGA camera will be used in the front for FaceTime while the back of the new iPad would have the 5 MP camera. Given the size of the iPad, it's not clear why this is a good idea though.
