iOS 4.1 now available for download

As expected, iOS 4.1 is now available for download. To get it, just connect your iPhone to your desktop and go to iTunes. Select the device in the left pane, and in the large window on the right, click on the button "Check for update".

Among other things, iOS 4.1 fixes bugs with the proximity sensor and Bluetooth. It also offer an updated Camera app that allows High Dynamic Range (HDR) photos as well as Game Center, a new app that allows you to find other players in multi-player games.

iOS 4.1 also restores the field test mode to the iPhone. This will give you a numeric figure for the strength of the signal.

To use this feature, dial *3001#12345#*, then press the call button.
