Apple Singapore starting to ship iPhone 4 orders

After what feels like an eternity, Apple's online Singapore store is finally shipping iPhone 4 orders. Those who placed their orders on Friday, July 30 are being told that their iPhones will be delivered by tomorrow, August 20.

On the bright side, this is earlier than what Apple had previously promised. It had initially promised to ship on August 23 and have it delivered by August 26.

There must be an enormous backlog though because yours truly ordered his iPhone 4 just a day later, on July 31, and it has yet to ship.
