According to Digitimes, the Economic Daily News reported Tuesday that "Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) and United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) will likely land chip orders for Apple's low-cost entry-level iPhone nano."
Note that it says, "will likely land chip orders". Nothing's been confirmed yet.

Not possible. Apple's spokesman said that they didn't want to make a low-end phone but the best phone in the world
I think you're right here. I don't Apple will release an iPhone nano.
